Early History of Cuban Cadets at The Citadel

From The Citadel's 1905 Register of Officers and Cadets, we see that the eight cadets from Cuba were placed in their own class, separate from the other freshmen (fourth classmen). Manuel Dirube, Francisco Alba, and Luis G. Lynn were ranked by merit. Jose Alba, Abelardo Campa, Eulogio Garcia, Carlos Labrada, and Manuel Labrada were listed as either "dismissed" or "withdrawn."
