Baseball signed by cadets on the team who competed in the Southern Conference College World Series. The Citadel team had 26 straight wins in the Atlantic Region that year.
Members of the 1990 baseball team were Steve Basch, Ken Britt, Hal Hayden, Hank Kraft, Kevin McGarvey, Richard Shirer, Brad Stowell, Chris Coker, Scott Elvington, Chris Lemonis, Bart Mays, Dan McDonnell, Tony Skole, Phillip Tobin, Billy Baker, Mike Black, Mike Branham, Cornell Caldwell, Vic Correll, Anthony Jenkins, Jason Rychlick, Gettys Glaze, Larry Hutto, and Derrick Rodgers. Their coach was Chal Port.
