Early History of Chinese Cadets at The Citadel

Chia-Mei Hu was admitted to the Corps in September of 1926, at age 18. He graduated June 5, 1928. In June of 1934, Lieutenant Colonel Hu was killed in an airplane accident while at the Chinese Central Flying School. The Chang Mei Hall in that school was dedicated in his honor.
