  • Career Planner -  The "Job Outlook Tool" shows you the future demand for each type of job.

    It also describes the nature of the work, the work environment, the education requirements, and salary ranges.

  • Occupational Outlook Handbook - from the US Bureau of Labor & Statistics, search by salary, number of new jobs projected, entry-level education requirements, on the job training, and growth rate. 
  • O*NET - containing hundreds of standardized and occupation-specific descriptors on almost 1,000 occupations covering the entire U.S. economy.
  • SC Works - thousands of positions listed by employers from all over the state.
  • Professional Associations - careers, job postings, professional development, scholarships, etc. Examples: American Accounting Association, American Society of Criminology, National Society of Biology Teachers, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, International Bodyguard Association, etc.
