Multimedia Resources: Audio, Images, Podcasts and Videos

Audio, video and images can help you learn about a topic, improve a presentation or allow you to discover new ideas and perspectives.

Resources at the Daniel Library

This guide allows you to browse databases, and online resources that provide access to free audio and visual content. They are split into four categories: audio, images, podcasts and videos.

Students, if you need help incorporating these materials into your projects and presentations, please contact one of our reference librarians either by dropping in during library hours, e-mailing us at reference@citadel.edu or giving us a call at 843-953-2569.

Faculty, if you need any help incorporating these materials into your curriculum, please contact your library liaison.

Rights and Copyright Clearance

When using any image from the online resources listed, make sure you click on the site's "Rights and Clearance"  or "Terms and Conditions" section to make sure you are following proper usage policies.

When using images from the databases, sometimes you may use them for educational purposes [as long as you cite them properly and give credit (i.e. in a presentation)]; but, many images are still copyrighted, so always check their usage policies, too.
