What are Course Reserves? Physical items may not be put on reserve during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please try to locate an electronic version, or ask a librarian to try and find it for you.

  • Books/DVDs or other materials, taken out of circulation and set aside for students in a specific course.

How do I submit a Course Reserves List?

  • Please use this form to put an item on Course Reserve.

What are the Course Reserve loan periods?

  • The standard options are 1, 3, or 5 days, but you may request a different time period.

What type of items can I place on Course Reserve?

  • Books, DVDs, scanned documents. E-books and e-articles are no longer eligible for Course Reserve (as of May 2018).     

How can I reserve a book or DVD for my own use?

  • Please request a Hold. This feature is available from the catalog, See image below.
