Use this link if you are a first time user needing to create an account. Existing users may use this link to update their account information if wanting to switch to single sign-on (Citadel Credentials @citadel.edu). Currently the app does not work with single sign-on, so you have to use the credentials you created yourself in that instance)
Now you can enjoy seamless, full access to NYTimes.com, INYT.com and NYT mobile apps from any location, on or off campus, just by logging into your NYTimes.com account.
The Archives are a feature of the nytimes.com and registered faculty/staff and students have unlimited access to articles dated from 9/18/1851 through 12/31/2002. The Archives do have 5 articles (pdf) download per day restriction per registered user. Navigate to the bottom of the webpage to the menu and select TimesMachine.
Existing New York Times users may switch to the single sign-on method using this link: https://www.nytimes.com/activate-access/sso This will allow you to log in using your @citadel.edu credentials.
Please note that the New York Times app does not currently work with single sign-on at this time. You may still use single sign-on, but when you use the app you will keep using the credentials that you originally created yourself.
We will update this information when they have implemented single sign-on for the app.
