COMM 216 Communications in Business

Three Credit Hours -  Prerequisite: ENGL 101 and 102

OVERVIEW: This course will help students develop the written and verbal communication skills necessary for effective business communication. To foster these skills, students will create, refine, and deliver professional documents and presentations both individually and as part of a team. Students will study grammatical conventions and aim to have clear, tight, and strong compositions. Experiential learning opportunities will involve problem solving and critical thinking in conjunction with written and oral communication. Real World projects will prepare students for their future careers as they creatively solve problems in a team environment.
